DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS IN PHOENIX-BILTMORE

This Defensive Driving class is held at Hampton Inn by Hilton Phoenix-Biltmore. Address: 2310 East Highland Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85016. For Google Maps and Directions click here. Major Crossroads are Camelback Rd and 24th St. Class starts at 10am. Please come 15-20 min earlier for verification of your documents.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

1. Your Traffic Ticket or a legible copy of your it

2. Your Driving License

3. Your payment. Payment is due when you come to class in the form of a Money Order, Cashier’s Check (please make it out to Express Defensive Driving School) or Exact Cash. No personal checks, credit cards or debit cards.

ATTENTION:

Express Defensive Driving Schools are dedicated to limiting and mitigating the spread of COVID-19. We follow the rules established in the Executive Orders of the Governor and the Supreme Court of Arizona. THEREFORE:

Adequate spacing will be provided
Everyone needs to bring and wear their own face mask
We measure temperature. People with flu-like symptoms will not be allowed in class

You can attend Defensive Driving once every 12 months in Arizona, if you have any questions, please call our office at 480-430-0408.

The school is required to charge the exact State Surcharge, State Fee and Court Diversion fees and then pays these to the state and courts on your behalf. Therefore, you do NOT have to also pay the fine for the violation you are diverting with this course. However, if you received more than one violation on your citation, you will have to pay for the additional violations separately. Please consult your court with questions about payment for multiple violations.

The course lasts 4 hours. There are no tests or quizzes. You will receive your receipt at the end of the class. The price of the class is determined by the name of the court on your ticket. Select the court from the list below.

By registering for this course I affirm that I am eligible to attend a defensive driving course for citation dismissal. I understand it is my responsibility to affirm my eligibility.

I understand that "eligibility" means:

I have not attended a defensive driving class for any Arizona citation dismissal within 12 months of the date of the citation for which I am attending now.

I am not currently registered for nor do I plan to attend any other defensive driving course for citation dismissal until such a time as I am again eligible.

My traffic violation did not result in a collision that killed or seriously injured any person.

My traffic violation citation is on the list of eligible violations.

I do not now, nor did I possess a Commercial Driver License (CDL) at the time of this violation, and I was not driving a commercial vehicle at the time of this violation; or if I do possess a CDL, I have a court order to attend and I understand my attendance is an element of sentence and not for the dismissal of my citation.

I understand this course will dismiss only one (1) eligible traffic violation. I understand that I must handle all other violations with the court.

I understand that I must complete the defensive driving course for citation dismissal at least 7 days prior to my court date.

I understand that by taking this course for this violation, I am giving up my right to challenge this violation in court, and that I will be ineligible to have future citations dismissed through this diversion program for the next 12 months.

I understand that if I'm later found to be ineligible to attend this course for a citation dismissal, the court will not dismiss the citation and ALL FEES TO ATTEND THIS COURSE MAY NOT BE REFUNDED.
